WHY IT MATTERS
I'm currently a Virginia based family & newborn portrait photographer serving primarily The Greater Richmond Region. My specialty is in capturing sweet sleepy newborns and their family. To date I’ve served and photographed over 1,600 families with newborns (including my own sweet daughter) and have had lots of training on handling and newborn safety through working in the hospital with newborns and education provided by other newborn photography specialists. As newborns are the most delicate subjects, I make their safety the number one priority during your session.
WHAT I DO
Our family grew by 1 when we had our sweet little girl! As a new mama, my perspective shifted. I suddenly understood motherhood and family photography on a whole new level and wanted more for my own family and my families I serve. Evelyn has been the spark I needed to finally go solo, push myself in new ways, and relaunch my business to create sustainability for our family and a more intentional, mindful experience for all other mamas wanting to preserve those fleeting cherished moments.

after years of dating we got married!

Grayson and I got married in September and then I hit the ground running. I focused 100% on growing my business, furthering my education, and honing my skills!

After graduating with my BFA from VCU, I began working part time as a business owner and part time for a photography company, but knew I would eventually go 100% solo. In April of 2021 my business became official with my first business license!

As a child, I loved playing with dad's camera, and I haven't stopped taking photos since then. It was until much later though that I would start earning from my work.

Is love at first site a real thing? We think so! From the moment we met, an undeniable spark was there and we haven't looked back. We knew we wanted to get married and have kids, and we've done exactly that!
